Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) is pleased to announce the hire of Cynthia Roush as a patient safety support specialist. Roush will assist the patient safety team with hospital engagement network efforts. 

“We are very fortunate to have Cynthia join our team as we continue to communicate the importance of patient safety,” said Doug Leonard, president of IHA. “Cynthia’s many talents will be valuable additions to the association and our member hospitals across Indiana."

Roush has extensive communications, marketing and legislative experience. Prior to joining IHA, Roush assisted with digital marketing and graphic design efforts for Indianapolis law firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP.

Previously, as head of communications and marketing for Metazoa Brewing Company she oversaw brand development, media relations strategies and designed and created all marketing materials. Roush’s other roles include positions at HCC Medical Insurance Services and the Indiana House of Representatives.

Roush received her Bachelor of Arts in strategic communication from Butler University.
