Council on Information Management
​The Council on Information Management advises IHA on the information needs of its members and on what data should be collected. The Council also oversees data formatting issues, technology for collecting and distributing data and on IHA information services. In addition, the Council keeps IHA up-to-date on data reporting requirements for members from agencies such as the National Quality Forum, accrediting bodies and various state and federal regulatory agencies. Council members generally include chief operating officers, chief information officers, information systems directors, quality professionals and chief executive officers with an expressed interest in technology.
