​If it makes Indiana patients safer, chances are we're doing it.

• Leading the Hospital Quality Improvement Collaborative (HQIC)​ in partnership with Cynosure Health to reduce harm, improve care transitions, and advance engagement and equity.
  
• Administering the Small Rural Hospital Improvement Grant Program (SHIP), in partnership with the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) and the Indiana State Office of Rural Health (SORH ).
  
• Reducing infant mortality.
  
• Administering the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP), a quality improvement activity under the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility (Flex) program of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP). 
  
• Implementing the Indiana Healthy Opportunities for People Everywhere, or I HOPE​ grant.  We have identified 60 hospitals in Indiana that fall into the rural category that are eligible to participate in this program.
